Vision Therapy

Vision therapy is a series of exercises and activities that train our eyes and brain to work together. The purpose of vision therapy is to improve a patient’s visual processing and visual motor skills, which includes focusing, eye teaming and tracking, coordination, balance and memory.

Vision therapy is effective in both children and adults who either have conditions or symptoms related to:

  • Crossed eye (strabismus) or lazy eye (amblyopia)
  • Learning disability or developmental disorders
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Post-concussion
  • Athletes (sports vision training)
  • Visual rehabilitation

Hollyburn Eye Clinic works closely with a network of vision therapists to provide patients with appropriate treatment plans and management.
